Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah terms FIA powers an attack on autonomy of Sindh government
KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has termed the FIA’s powers an attack on the independence of the Sindh government.
Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the federal government has given Rs two billion to Sindh for the Rs 50b water project and he had returned the amount, saying please give the ‘donation’ to someone else.
About his telephonic conversation with MQM chief Altaf Hussain, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that he had not disconnected the call, but Altaf Hussain did so.
He said that Altaf Bhai is respectable for them and he had attended the phone after leaving the meeting.
“But Bhai was in anger. He put such questions which cannot narrate openly,” he added.
