Christian community mark ‘Youm-e-Dua’, hold special prayers for Attock blast victims
LAHORE (92 News) – The Christian community is celebrating ‘Youm-e-Dua’ across the country and held special prayers in temples on Sunday.
Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Kamran Michael, Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs Khalil George and hundreds of others participated in a special prayer ceremony that was held in Lahore under the Eternal Life Ministries for the martyrs of Attock blast.
The participants held candle light vigil for the martyrs and prayed for the departed souls.
The participants of the ceremony rich paid tribute to the martyred Punjab home minister Shuja Khanzada.
Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Kamran Michael said that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not go waste.
Commenting on the situation in Karachi, he said that the operation was started with the consultation of the all political parties, adding that people of the city are satisfied with the outcome of the operation.
