Civilian martyred in Indian unprovoked firing across LoC
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – One civilian was martyred in an unprovoked Indian firing on civilian population on Friday.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian forces targeted a civilian areas along the LoC, resultantly, an innocent young boy Inzamam,19, embraced martyrdom.
Inzamam was carrying out routine work at a crush plant at Poonch river bank in his Tetrinote village when he came under the target of Indian firing.
Pakistan Army responded effectively to Indian ceasefire violations and targeted those posts which initiated unprovoked firing inflicting substantial damage on them.
Indian forces have carried out more than 390 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary in first twos months of this year which resulted in martyrdom of 17 innocent civilian and injuries to 65 others.
The unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing since last year when its forces committed more than 1,900 ceasefire violations.
