CJP arrives in London to raise funds for dam
LONDON (92 News) Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar arrived in London on a week-long private trip from today (on Tuesday).
Speaking to the journalists, the chief justice said that he came here to attend the graduation ceremony of his son. He also said that only one system for justice in Pakistan.
The CJP said that he arranged the event to raise funds for the construction of Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams only seeing the patriotism and love of oversees for Pakistan.
The chief justice will attend fund-raising ceremonies in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
As per a schedule of the CJP’s fund-raising trip, he will depart for Britain today and will attend an event at Lincoln’s Inn in London on November 21.
On November 22, he will attend an event organised by a group called ‘Centre for Policy Dimensions’.
UK Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industries is also scheduled to host a fund-raising event during the CJP’s visit.
