CJP forms three-member bench to hear fake stents case from Feb 1

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar has formed a three-member bench to hear the case regarding unregistered stents being used for cardiac patients in government hospitals of Lahore.

The three-member bench headed by CJP Nisar and comprising Justice Umar Atia Bandial and Justice Baqir Maqbool will hear the case from February 1.

The Supreme Court has issued a notice to all the four provincial advocate generals, provincial health secretaries, FIA DG and other parties involved.

The CJP had taken a suo-moto notice of the issue on Jan 17.
