CJP takes suo motu notice of Axact fake degree scandal, seeks report
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Friday took suo motu notice of the fake degree scandal and summoned a report from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General (DG) within 10 days.
While giving remarks, the CJP observed that no one who tarnishes Pakistan’s name would be allowed to go free.
He remarked that our heads are down in shame because of the Axact fake degree scandal.
The CJP ordered the FIA DG to investigate into the scandal.
Justice Mian Saqib Nisar observed that the scandal has tarnished country’s image in the world, adding that the cases were pending in the courts against Axact scandal.
