CJP take suo motu notice of illegal appointments in NAB
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali has taken suo motu notice of illegal appointments in the National Accountability Bureau.
The notice has been taken on an anonymous letter.
According to the letter, the appointments of 16 officers of BS-20 and 21 are illegal.
It stated that in 1999, several retired army officers were inducted into the NAB and they did not return.
According to the letter, the appointments of DG NAB Karachi Sirajun Naeem, DG NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Maj (retd) Shahzad Saleem, Director Monitoring Brig (retd) Hadeed, DG NAB Multan, Squadron Leader (retd) Tariq Nadeem, Director Lahore Region Capt (retd) Furrukh and several other officers are illegal.
The notice has been issued for the last week of August.
