CJP takes notice of publicity campaigns by Punjab, Sindh and KP govts
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday took suo motu notice of publicity campaigns by the governments of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
The CJP remarked that the governments of KP, Sindh and Punjab were running advertisement campaigns at the expense of taxpayers.
He observed that this falls under the context of pre-poll rigging.
Justice Saqib Nisar directed the Information Secretary and Chief Secretaries to submit report in the court.
