CJP takes serious notice of Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui’s allegations
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar has taken serious notice of a speech delivered by Islamabad High Court Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui Judge at Rawalpindi Bar Association.
As per details, the chief justice expressed anger on IHC judge’s allegations about the interference of premier intelligence agencies of the country in the judicial matters.
The top judge has called for complete record of the speech from Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA). Giving the remarks to respond the speech of Justcie Shoukat Aziz, Saqib Nisar regretted over allegations of the IHC judge.
Assuring being a judicial head, the chief justice said that the judicial system has no pressure from any institutions and any person. “We have no pressure from anyone’s side, It will be overviewed that what action can be taken regarding this matter,” he said.
