CM Shahbaz Sharif says reply submitted, I will appear in SC if needed
LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that he had submitted a reply to the Supreme Court and would appear in court if needed.
Addressing inaugural ceremony of a freight train for coal power plant in Qadirabad on Tuesday, he said that a corrupt politician does not start uplift projects.
“Our opponents plundered the kitty and stashed their money in Swiss banks after getting loans waived,” he maintained.
The chief minister said that a record would be set after the completion of the coal power plant project in June.
Railways Minister Kh Saad Rafique said that their opponents should do for the betterment of the masses along with politics. “They (opponents) should also introduce the projects like us,” he said.
The Sahiwal coal power plant will start production in June, while it will be run on experimental basis in April.
Five goods train will bring coal to Sahiwal from Port Qasim daily and 55 engines have been imported from America.
