CM Usman Buzdar suspends Gujranwala Development Authority DG
GUJRANWALA (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Saturday visited Gujranwala and suspended the GDA director general for his poor performance.
Addressing a high-level meeting, he directed to take immediate steps for improving Solid Waste Management Department. He also ordered to transfer the Health CEO due to complaints against him.
The chief minister also decided to get the complaints against the WASA and the GDA investigated by the Chief Minister Inspection Team (CMIT).
He also distributed wheelchairs among the disabled people. He also ordered the transfer of the deputy commissioner, asking him to report to the S&GAD.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar visited the District Police Lines and laid a bouquet at the Yadgar-e-Shuhda. He also visited the model police station and inspected different departments.
He also paid a visit to Teaching Hospital and inspected its different departments. He inquired after the health of patients and listened to the complaints of nurses.
Later, the chief minister paid a surprise visit to DHQ Hospital Hafizabad and inspected the facilities being provided to patients.
He also met the PTI leaders and ticket-holders.
