COAS General Raheel Sharif meets tribal elders in North Waziristan; lauds high morale of jawans
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – COAS General Raheel Sharif met tribal elders in North Waziristan on Saturday.
He also met the IDPs returning to their houses. “The return of the IDPs will be ensured,” he said.
The COAS lauded the sacrifices of the IDPs in the Zarb-e-Azb operation.
The operational commanders briefed the COAS about the operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The COAS expressed his satisfaction over the targets achieved in the Zarb-e-Azb.
He appreciated the resolve and high morale of the jawans.
“It is the tradition of Pak Army to remain away from their families and houses to defend the motherland,” he maintained.
The COAS said that the nation supports the Pak Army against terrorism.
Earlier, he offered the Eid prayers in South Waziristan after spending a night in Wana Camp.
