COAS General Raheel Sharif says fight against terrorism not for today, but to secure future
LAHORE (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has said that their fight against terrorism is not for today, but to secure the future.

“Wars are not fought by armies alone; rather it requires the effort of entire nation,” he maintained.
COAS General Raheel Sharif said: “Our security threats are complex, multidimensional and hybrid in character. Traditional response mechanisms are not relevant anymore.”
He said that achievements in the Zarb-e-Azb operation have created a space for a decisive surge against terrorists in urban areas and environment is getting ripe for political optimization towards a meaningful and sustainable closure.
Earlier on arrival at Quetta, COAS was received by Commander Southern Command Lt-Gen Naseer Khan Janjua.
