COAS installs Lt Gen Nadeem Raza as first Col. Commandant of Mujahid Force

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javaid Bajwa has on Monday visited Mujahid Force Center in Bhimber.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations, during the visit, the COAS installed Rawalpindi Corps Commander Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza as first Colonel Commandant of Mujahid Force in a ceremony held at Mujahid Force Center in Bhimber.

A large number of serving and retired officers including from Mujahid Force were also present at the occasion.

While interacting with the Commanding Officers and soldiers of Mujahid Force, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa appreciated contributions and sacrifices of Mujahid Force particularly along the Line of Control (LoC).


He said that Army is undertaking various measures to ensure that services of Mujahid Force are recognized in deserving manner.

The COAS on arrival also laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha.
