RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa held a meeting with National Security Advisor of United Kingdom Sir Mark Sedwill and Permanent Secretary Ministry of Defense Stephen Lovegrove on Tuesday.

DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, in a tweet, said that the COAS had also met the UK Cabinet secretary at Cabinet Office.

He said that the COAS and UK dignitaries had discussed regional situation, including Afghan peace process. “The UK dignitaries acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions towards regional peace,” he added.

On Monday, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Ministry of Defence, United Kingdom on Monday, stated DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor in a tweet.


Chief of Defence Staff UK Gen Sir Nick Carter received COAS Qamar Bajwa on his arrival at the Ministry of Defence.

They held a session of the delegation level strategic dialogue to discuss geo-strategic environment and bilateral military cooperation.
