COAS says won’t allow proxies to succeed, Pakistan and Kashmir are inseparable
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has said that the army will now allow proxy fighters to succeed against the country, while underlining the success of the operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Speaking at the National Defence University on Wednesday, the army chief vowed to defeat all proxies working against the country. “Pakistan opposed use of proxies against other countries and will not tolerate any country to use proxies against Pakistan,” the COAS said. “Future warfare tactics are fast changing,” he said. “Our enemies are sponsoring terrorism to destabilize our country.”
General Raheel Sharif said Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of the partition. Pakistan and Kashmir are inseparable. He said Pakistan desires just resolution of Kashmir dispute in the light of United Nations resolutions and aspirations of Kashmiri people for lasting peace and stability in the region.
