The autopsy of the victim Waqas was performed after 10 hours. Later, the body was handed over to the bereaved family.
Four policemen involved in the incident have been arrested. The murder sections have been included in the FIR.
Faisalabad CPO Sohail Chaudhary admitted that the shots were fired on Waqas unnecessarily.
Eyewitness told that the vehicle's tyre ran over one of feet of a cop when the patrolling police signaled the car to stop. "After exchanging hot words, the policemen pointed guns towards Waqas who sped away. On reaching the village, Waqas came out of the car and raised his hands. But the policemen opened fire on without listening to him," he disclosed.
He said that the policemen forcibly embarked the eyewitnesses on the vehicle and continued to roam for three hours.
The victim family has demanded a judicial probe into the incident.
