Committee to present report to PCB chairman Shahryar Khan today
LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Fact-Finding Committee has on Friday completed its report pertaining to cricket team’s debacle in Asia Cup and ICC World Twenty20 and will present the report to Board chairman today.
The committee confirmed in its report regarding the grouping in the team, while despite injuries, Muhammad Amir was included in the squad against Australia and New Zealand.
“Despite being warned from the coach, Pakistan T20 skipper Shahid Afridi included four fast bowlers in the squad against India,” the report said.
The report said that the performance of Wahab Riaz, Umer Akmal, Ahmad Shahzad, Shoaib Malik was surprisingly below average. “The statements of PCB chairman Shahryar Khan during the tournament also demoralized the team player.”
