Complete shutdown in IHK on 32nd death anniversary of Hurriyat leader Maqbool Butt Shaheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A complete shutdown strike was observed across Indian Held Kashmir on the 32nd death anniversary of Hurriyat leader Muhammad Maqbool Butt Shaheed on Thursday.

The Indian Army detained 50 Hurriyat leaders to stop the protest demonstration.

Maqbool Butt Shaheed was hanged in Tihar Jail in New Delhi in 1984 for his leading role in the Kashmir freedom movement and was buried on the jail premises.
