Conference of selected Pakistani envoys underway
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The three-day conference of selected Pakistani envoys is underway in Islamabad to discuss important foreign policy matters.
The conference was inaugurated by Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif.
The conference will discuss potential strength of the foreign policy and options available in view of the current geo-political and regional situation.
Pakistan’s envoys in various countries, including the United States, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Afghanistan, Iran, and India are participating in the conference.
Sources said that while addressing the conference’s opening session, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif said that it would be difficult to go ahead without the recognition of sacrifices of Pakistan.
He said that India cannot be declared guarantor of the peace in South Asia, adding that the dream of peaceful South Asia would remain incomplete without lasting solution of Kashmir dispute.
