Congo virus diagnosed in 13 patients, 11 killed
PESHAWAR (92 News) – Congo virus has killed at least 11 patients in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province only as the number of congo virus increased to at least 27, owing to a drastic lack of medical facilities.
In a statement issued by the provincal Health Department, the number of suspected patients carrying congo virus reaches 27, while 11 people have lost their lives due to the disease.
“At least 13 people have been tested positive of Congo Virus,” the statement said.
“At least 27 Congo virus positive patients with 22 from Afghanistan, three from Peshawar, one from Lakki Marwat and one from Kohat to different hospitals.”
