Constitution has to dissolve for exercising presidential system: Khursheed
SUKKUR (92 News) – Paksitan Peoples’ Party (PPP) stalwart and former opposition leader in National Assembly said on Thursday that if the government wants to exercise presidential system then it has to dissolve the constitution.
In his statement, the PPP leader has said that the best way to resolve the problems is parliament and why the judiciaries stop this way. “How and why the presidential system will be exercised, it has to dissolve the constitution,” he said.
He also said that the incumbent government created worse economic situation and the people has become worried due to the inflation.
Khursheed Shah further said that the foreign investors are hesitating to invest their money in Pakistan due to the economic crisis. He also demanded the government to reveal truth regarding International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout package before the public.
“The government should inform public about inflation before reaching in the IMF,” the PPP leader mentioned.
He has said that Imran Khan thinks that no one sitting in the parliament is innocent. He also said that construction on the development projects in Karachi has been stopped while targets set by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) remained unachieved. However, we received Rs1945 billion tax, he added.
The leader said that he has asked the government for negotiations for several times, adding that the PM is still standing on a container. He further said that chief selector has committed a mistake in the selection and now he is thinking on it.
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s grandson being branded traitor, regrets Khursheed
Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah on Sunday regretted that former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s grandson PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto was being branded traitor.
Speaking at the event, the former opposition leader said that everyone knew the politics the Bhutto family had been doing.
