ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday condemned the attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi, terming it as a conspiracy against China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

In his statement, the prime minister ordered an immediate inquiry of the attack. He also said the elements and motives behind this attack should be uncovered.

PM Imran Khan termed the attack a conspiracy against Pak-China economic and strategic relations. “Such incidents will never be able to undermine Pak-China relationship that is mightier than Himalaya and deeper than Arabian sea,” he mentioned.

Earlier, the security forces on Friday successfully foiled the attack on the consulate located in Karachi’s Clifton Block-4 area. Two policemen were martyred and a security guard injured as three terrorists tried to enter the Chinese Consulate. The terrorists were killed before they were able to enter the consulate.
