Contempt Case: SC decides to indict Nehal Hashmi on March 26
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday decided to indict Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nehal Hashmi’s reply in contempt of court case on March 26.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar took up the review petition filed by the former senator to review his disqualification order removing him as the member of Senate after awarding him one-month jail term.
In today’s proceedings, Nehal Hashmi submitted his reply in the court contempt of court case but the court rejected his reply.
While giving remarks, Justice Saqib Nisar observed that this will be an exemplary decision.
