Contempt of Court case: SHC expresses anger over late arrival of IG Sindh

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court (SHC) has on Tuesday while expressing anger over late arrival of Inspector General (IG) of Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali in a contempt of court case and adjourned the hearing until February 17.

A Sindh High Court bench headed by Justice Muneeb Akhtar heard a contempt of court case against IG Sindh and others but Ghulam Haider Jamali was not present in the court on which the court expressed anger.

The lawyers told the court that IG Sindh was on his way on which Justice Muneeb Akhtar remarked all police officers must ensure their attendance in the court.


The SHC bench member Justice AK Agha refuse to hear the case after which the court sent the matter to Chief Justice Sindh High Court for the formation of new bench and adjourned the hearing until February 17.
