Cops among nine injured in IED blast in Charsadda
PESHAWAR (92 News) – At least nine persons, including three policemen, were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) hit a patrolling van in Charsadda on Monday.
As per details, the incident occurred in Sarokalley area of Charsadda district when a Police mobile van of was on routine patrolling when it was targeted with remote controlled IED near Masal Khan village in Shabqadar tehsil, resultantly, four policemen and five civilians sustained injuries.
Rescue officials reached the spot and rushed the injured people to nearby hospital for medical assistance.
Following the explosion, security forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area. The law enforcers launched a probe into the incident.
