ISLAMABAD (92 News) – NDMA Chairman Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal has said that the coronavirus cases have been reduced by 7-8 percent in the country.
In 92 News Program ‘Night Edition’ on Monday, he said that an isolation hospital constructed at US$40 would be made operational in Thursday or Friday.
He said that 40 kanals each had been allocated for such more hospitals.
He said that everything had been submitted to the Supreme Court and the audit of the NDMA had started. “We are ready to face any type of investigations,” he said.
The NDMA chairman said that 15 ventilators had been handed over to the NDMA in Haripur. “It is a big breakthrough for a country like Pakistan. The NTDC deserves appreciation. We are going to install 2,500 oxygen beds in provinces,” he said.
About the steps for locust attack, Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal said that they had four planes and one pilot last year. “We have arranged for pilots and five helicopters. A plane has been hired from Turkey,” he said.
He said that 100 spray machines have been arranged.
