Corrupt elements will be dealt with an iron hand, says NAB chief
KARACHI (92 News) – NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that corrupt elements will be dealt with an iron hand.
Addressing officers at Karachi NAB Bureau on Tuesday, he said that corruption is the root of all evils.
“We have started indiscriminate efforts to end corruption,” he added.
He said that the NAB had so far recovered Rs 289 billion from the corrupt elements. “The Quaid-e-Azam had declared corruption and nepotism a curse,” he added.
The NAB chief said that they are following the zero tolerance policy to end corruption.
He said that the NAB had introduced a system of the joint investigation team.
