Court extends Ayyan Ali’s judicial remand till July 13
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The Special Customs Court extended the judicial remand of model Ayyan Ali till July 13 in the money smuggling case on Monday.
She will be indicted the same day.
Her counsel Latif Khosa appealed to the court to take notice of the character assassination of his client.
The judge remarked that the court could not interfere in the matter.
Ayyan Ali asked the court why she was not being granted bail.
“I am facing the charge of Rs 50 million, while the accused involved in the smuggling of Rs 160 million were granted bail,” she complained.
She said that her case was deliberately being mistreated.
The model also refused to meet her father.
