Court extends model Ayyan Ali’s judicial remand till June 15
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A banking court on Monday extended Supermodel Ayyan Ali’s judicial remand till June 15 today (Monday), in the money-laundering case.
According to details, the hearing was headed by Judge Rana Aftab who expressed displeasure with custom authorities for not presenting the final challan, saying that the case was being delayed due to it. The court while ordering to submit the final challan on next hearing, extended the judicial remand of the suspect till June 15 on the request of custom authorities.
Moreover, Ayyan’s lawyer Lateef Khosa will present his arguments before the court tomorrow regarding bail plea of the suspect.
Ayyan, who was presented before the customs court for the ninth time, also held a meeting with her lawyers after the hearing.
Super model Ayyan Ali and her story have been under the spot-light since the day she was arrested over alleged money-laundering. She was detained on March 14 before she could board a Dubai flight along with her luggage carrying $500,000.
