Court makes witness statement part of supplementary reference trial
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – An accountability court hearing an unaccounted assets reference against former finance minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday ordered to make an already recorded statement of a prosecution witness part of the supplementary reference.
Judge Muhammad Bashir ordered that Muhammad Azeem’s statement be made a part of the reference against Ishaq Dar. Another prosecution witness Abdul Rahman Gondal also recorded his statement in the case.
Naeem Mehmood and Mansoor Rizvi, co-accused in the case attended the hearing. Mehmood, Rizvi and National Bank of Pakistan President Saeed Ahmed are accused in the supplementary reference filed by the NAB against the former finance minister.
The hearing was adjourned till May 2.
