CPNE, PBA delegation apprises PM of problems being faced by media

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A delegation of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) and the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday.

The delegation apprised the prime minister of the problems being faced by the media industry.

The prime minister assured the delegation of waiving the five percent duty on the news print.

He said that the government might not go to the International Monetary Fund.

“We will soon overcome the problems with the help of our policies. We are contacting friend countries for the resolution of the problems,” he said.
