Cricket world cup live: New Zealand conclude inning, set 240-run chase for India

OLD Trafford (92 News) – India is chasing a total of 240-run target set by New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 semi-final today after the latter resumed batting on the reserve day at Old Trafford.

The Kiwis scored 239 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs.

Ross Taylor (74) remained the highest run-scorer for New Zealand. The Black Caps captain Kane Williamson had earlier made 67.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar led a disciplined India attack with figures of 3-43 off 10 overs. Jadeja, Bumrah, Pandya and Chahal took one wicket apiece.

Jadeja ran out Taylor with direct hit, then caught Latham expertly on boundary in space of two balls

Winner plays England or Australia in final at Lord’s on 14 July
