Crops, gardens inundated by canal breach in Multan
MULTAN (92 News) – A vast area of crops and gardens was inundated by a 15-foot breach in the Tataypur Canal on Thursday.
Locals told 92 News that the canal water could also affect residential areas.
They said that the Irrigation Department officials could not reach the spot even after several hours.
“People are busy plugging the hole on self-help basis in darkness,” they said.
They said that the supply of canal water to locals had been suspended.
