CTD nabs PU professor on suspicion of links with banned outfit

LAHORE (92 News) – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has on Monday apprehended at least a professor of the University of the Punjab suspected of having links with the banned organization.

As per details, the CTD carried out a raid at a house in Allama Iqbal Town’s Raza Block and detained Punjab University’s professor Ghalib Atta on suspicions of having links with a banned terrorist outfit.

Professor Ghalib Atta, 48, is posted at varsity’s Institute of Administrative Sciences.


Police shifted Professor Ghalib Atta to an unknown place for further interrogation.
