Customs seize foreign currency from a passenger destined to Dubai

ISLAMABAD – Customs foiled an attempt to smuggle foreign currency to Dubai on Wednesday, detaining a passenger at the New Islamabad Airport.

According to the reports, Customs personnel checked the luggage of passenger Zakir Muhammad who was destined to Dubai and found a large amount of UAE dirhams and Saudi Riyal.

Officials took the suspect into custody, seized the currency and began detailed investigations.
