Dar’s guarantor moves IHC against property seizure orders
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The guarantor of former finance minister Ishaq Dar has on Saturday filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) challenging the accountability court’s (AC) verdict of seizure of his property.
Ahmed Ali Qaddoosi, the guarantor of the ex-fiannce minister, filed a petition in the IHC claiming that there was no element of dishonesty in Dar’s absence from court hearings.
The petition further stated that the accountability court’s order to seize his property was illegal.
The AC had stated in its order that a medical report was filed by the former minister to lengthen the case and that Dar was maintaining absence on purpose.
