India violates Line of Control agreement again and again, says Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
WASHINGTON (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that India violates the Line of Control agreement again and again.
Addressing a ceremony at US Institute of Peace on Friday, he said that unfortunately India’s attitude is not peace-loving. “The situation has deteriorated due to statements of the Indian leaders.”
He said that it is essential to give the Kashmiris right to self-determination according to the resolutions of the United Nations.
He said that international agencies had made the Pakistan rating positive. “Karachi Stock Exchange has displayed better performance,” he added.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that democracy is strengthening while terrorism is eliminating in Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan’s institutions are working for international peace. “America is Pakistan’s old friend.”
The prime minister said that Pakistan’s economy was heading towards restoration. “Action is being taken against terrorism under a comprehensive strategy,” he added.
Nawaz Sharif said that the media is free and activated, while the judiciary is free in Pakistan. “The government has brought terrorists and their facilitators to justice.”
He said that poverty had reduced due to government’s economic policies.
After completing the US tour, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has left for London.
