Dense fog prevails in parts of Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) – The foggy weather continued to prevail in the plain areas of Punjab, leaving zero visibility on roads and prompting to closure of Motorway at many sections.

The traffic system has been disrupted as fog continues to blanket various areas of the province including Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal, Mian Channu and Bahwalpur on Thursday.

Various sections of Motorway and National Highway have also been closed due to thick fog, while commuters have been advised to avoid unnecessary travelling and use fog lights while driving.

According to Motorway police, M-I from Peshawar to Islamabad, M-2 from Islamabad to Lahore and M-3 from Faisalabad to Gojra remain closed.


Meanwhile, the flight schedule has been disturbed due to the dense fog.

Cold and dry weather is expected in remaining parts of the country.
