Disabled persons protest for implementation of job quota

KARACHI (92 News) – The physically disabled persons have on Monday staged a protest demonstration for implementation of job quota allocated for disabled persons.

The protesters, including men and women, lamented that they were living from hand to mouth because of unemployment as the government has failed to provide them jobs as per the quota allotted to them despite protesting and fighting for their basic rights for years.

The protesters on wheelchairs and walking sticks were holding placards and banners sat at the entrance of the Sindh Assembly building, chanting slogans against the government.

The protesters said that they were facing multiple challenges in day to day affairs. Therefore, government should provide them jobs so that they could live a normal life.
