Disqualified PM’s rally fails to show street power on first day
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s rally failed to show street power on first day on Wednesday.
Despite using the state machinery and making all arrangements, the rally could not attract the expected crowd.
The rally along with vehicles and a container started from Punjab House, Islamabad at 11:45am. Before leaving for Lahore, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif held consultative meetings with the ministers and PML-N leaders.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar saw him off at Punjab House.
Contrary to expectations, the N-League failed to show street power which is a setback for the party leadership.
Nawaz Sharif had to make the speech, but he did not do so.
