LAHORE (92 News) – Responding to the Pakistan Muslim league-N’s (PML-N) criticism on the incumbent government about Nawaz Sharif healthcare facilities, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar asked incarcerated former premier that did he not trust his private hospital as well as his brother’s constructed hospital.

The Punjab CM took his twitter and raised some questions. He asked that if the government has not offered him access to hospital and treatment of his choice.

“Leader of Opposition Shehbaz Sharif has been saying that the government would be responsible if anything happens to the three-time prime minister. “Didn’t the government offer Nawaz treatment at a place of his choice,” he questioned, in his tweet.

“Nawaz Sharif didn’t trust his private hospitals and those his brother had constructed during his stint as Punjab chief minister over the past decade,” he questioned.

“Isn’t Nawaz Sharif refusing to go to hospital solely to exert pressure for bail? Do the Sharif Medical City and Ittefaq Hospital provide poor healthcare facilities?”

The Punjab chief minister also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his father always got treatment at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital.

He further questioned if the Sharif brothers were not able to set up a single health facility over the past 30 years where the elder Sharif could be treated.

Nawaz says humiliation in name of medical treatment unacceptable

Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday termed that he would not accept the humiliation in the name of medical treatment.

According to the details garnered, Nawaz Sharif has prepared his response to Punjab government’s letter. The letter will be sent to the government within two or three days. It stated that Nawaz Sharif said he has complete trust in courts and will take care of own treatment if relief is given.

The sources also said that in the letter, the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) quid has stated that he is being moved to hospitals like a refugee. “The humiliation in name of the treatment will not be acceptable,” he wrote.
