Doctors, Paramedics among seven injured during scuffle in Peshawar’s LRH

PESHAWAR (92 News) – The paramedical staff of Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) in Peshawar held a protest demonstration outside the hospital premises against alleged encroachment of LRH hostel by TMOs and doctors.

As per details, the paramedical staff held a protest demonstration against illegal occupation of LRH hostel by the doctors when a scuffle broke out between the protesters and doctors.

The protesters while holding placards demonstrated outside the administration block, while the paramedical staff hurled stones at the hostel during the scuffle.

The brawl between paramedical staff and doctors prompt police to intervene and baton-charge the protesters. The police used tear gas shelling to disperse the protesters.

At least seven people including three doctors and two paramedics sustained injuries in the scuffle.
