WASHINGTON (92 News) – Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has provoked condemnation from across the political spectrum, by saying Muslims should be banned from entering the US.

As the condemnation from across the globe pour in following Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s statement, the British Prime Minister David Cameron and his French counterpart Manuel Valls have declared Trumps demand wrong, while French President François Hollande declared his demand inappropriate.

While criticizing the Republican presidential candidate’s statement, the White House declared Trump’s statement contrary to American values and national security.

Rival Republican candidate Jeb Bush called Trump ‘unhinged’, while former US Vice-President Dick Cheney said it “goes against everything we stand for and believe in”.

According to British International organization Defamation, stopping people from entering US on the basis of religion is unacceptable and highly defamatory.
