Dr Asim Case: ATC issues arrest warrants of MQM, PPP leaders
KARACHI (92 News) – The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has on Wednesday issued arrest warrants of Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Pakistan People’s Party leaders in terror facilitation case of former federal minister for petroleum Dr Asim Hussain.
The ATC issued non-bailable arrest warrants of the MQM leaders including candidate for Karachi mayor Waseem Akhtar, Saleem Shahzad, Anees Qaimkhani and the PPP Abdul Qadir Patel and Usman Muazzam.
The court further adjourned the hearing until January 8 and ordered to arrest all the five the accused and present them in the court during the next hearing.
Dr Asim Hussain has been accused of sheltering and treating wanted terrorists and criminals at his hospital.
