Dr Mahathir thanks Imran Khan for productive visit to Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR (92 News) – Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohammad has personally thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for a productive visit to his country.
Shortly after Prime Minister Imran Khan left for home after concluding his official tour to Malaysia, Dr Mahathir Mohamad took to twitter to thank him for the visit.
In his tweet, the Malaysian PM expressed confidence that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit will spur greater cooperation and exchanges between the two countries and peoples as well as the two regions.
“I thank you for visiting Malaysia and I wish you and your delegation a productive time here. I am confident that your visit will spur greater cooperation and exchanges between our two countries and peoples, and our two regions,” Dr Mahathir tweeted.

Earlier today, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has announced to visit Pakistan on March 23 on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Addressing a joint press conference on Wednesday, he said that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is the first foreigner being welcomed by him. “Pakistan and Malaysia are facing the same conditions,” he said.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that they will benefit from the experiences of Mahathir Mohmad for economic progress in Pakistan. “Mahathir Mohmad has played a key role in the progress of the country. Pakistan and Malaysia will cooperate with each other in different sectors,” he announced.
Imran Khan said that he and his Malaysian counterpart got votes against corruption.
