KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Airlines Pilot Association (PALPA) President Amir Hashmi has on Saturday while supporting the resumption of flight operations refused to be a part of Joint Action Committee of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees.
Talking to media, PALPA president Amir Hashmi said that the JAC will have to end their strike, adding that they cannot see the sufferings of passengers.
He said that they do not want to be a part of JAC but they are receiving threatening phone calls and demanded protection. “PALPA has never been a supporter of strike,” he said.
On the other hand, Privatization Chairman Muhammad Zubair said that the flight operation will be resumed soon.
