Dumper set on fire after runs over 10-year-old boy in Karachi’s Landhi

KARACHI (92 News) – A dumper truck was set on fire after it ran over a 10-year-old boy in Karachi’s Landhi early on Friday morning.

According to the details garnered, a 10-year-old boy was killed while his father was injured when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a rashly driven dumper in Landhi No 4 area of Karachi.

Angry residents gathered at the spot and set the dumper on fire. They also beat the driver of the dumper. The angry mob also pelted stones at other trailers and tankers passing from the road. The mob blocked the road and smashed windscreens of many other vehicles.

Police and Rangers reached the spot and brought the situation under control. They disperse the mob and took 16 protestors into custody. Police also arrested the driver of the dumper and shifted him to police station.
