“Each drop of nation’s blood shall be revenged, and revenged immediately. No more restraint for anyone,” the COAS said.

The army chief also appealed the nation to stay calm amid the new wave of terrorism that has hit country this week.

In a series of tweets, ISPR DG Major General Asif Ghafoor said that the army chief has appealed the nation to stay calm.

“COAS appeals nation to stay calm. Your security forces shall not allow hostile powers to succeed. We stand for our nation,” he wrote in his tweet.

He added that the recent terrorist acts are being executed on directions from hostile powers and from sanctuaries in Afghanistan. We shall defend and respond to them.

Earlier, the COAS ordered Pakistan Army and Rangers to provide all out help for the victims of Sehwan blast.


The ISPR DG said in a tweet that Army and Rangers personnel have been moved along with medical support to assist the victims.

“COAS directed imed assistance to Sehwan blast victims. Army /Rangers moved incl medical support. Hyderabad CMH ready to receive casualties,” the ISPR DG wrote in his tweet. s

Armed Forces have placed all required resources for rescue effort. Army and Rangers are doing rescue effort at site, he said, and added PAF C-130 will lift injured from Nawab Shah airport. Navy heli will lift injured from Sehwan and surroundings, he said.

“Air effort being sent for quick evacuation of injured. Night flying cap heli of Navy and C-130 of PAF will do relief effort,” the ISPR DG wrote on his Twitter account.
