Ehtesab Commission KP Director Investigation resigned
PESHAWAR (92 News) – In yet another shock for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission, Director Investigation Amjad Khan has on Monday resigned from his position.
Anjad Khan had taken the charge of the office three days ago. He held farewell meetings with the staff of Ehtesab Commission at his office today before quitting the office.
Earlier, Director General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission Lt General (R) Hamid Khan resigned from his position on February 10 in protest over recent amendments in the provincial anti-corruption act.
The KP cabinet had approved amendments in Ehtesab Commission Act 2014 making it mandatory for the commission to take prior permission from Speakers and Chairman of the National Assembly, Senate and Provincial Assembly before arresting any member of the parliament.
